My approach is lifestyle-based — we focus on connection, emotion, and the tender little details. Baby is never posed in inorganic or unnatural positions — instead, we allow space for gentle, authentic moments to unfold naturally.

How far in advance should I book my session?
For newborn sessions, the best time to book is before baby arrives — ideally at the start of your third trimester. This helps ensure availability and gives us time to prepare everything with care. Once your session is reserved, we’ll simply wait for baby’s arrival and schedule the exact date once you're home and settled.
Is there a certain time frame for newborn photos to be taken?
Newborns photograph best between 7–21 days old, when they’re still sleepy, snuggly, and adjusting to life outside the womb. That said, those early postpartum days can feel intense and overwhelming — so this is simply a gentle recommendation, not a strict rule. I always wait for you to reach out when you’re feeling ready.
Unforeseen circumstances can arise during delivery or recovery, and I fully understand that. Once baby arrives and you're home and settled, just send me a note and we’ll finalize your session date together.
Even if baby is beyond that suggested window, please don’t feel discouraged — we can still create a beautiful, heartfelt session to preserve this incredibly special time.
How do you ensure baby’s safety and cleanliness during the session?
Your baby’s safety is my top priority. With my background as a NICU nurse, I’m deeply comfortable handling newborns and understand how delicate these early days can be. Every prop, wrap, and surface is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before each session. I also take a gentle, baby-led approach — no unnatural posing, just safe, supported, and nurturing moments. You can rest easy knowing your little one is in thoughtful, capable hands.
How long should we expect our session to last?
Newborn sessions are gently paced and completely baby-led, so we allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and snuggling. On average, sessions last between 1.5 to 2 hours, though I always leave space for flexibility. There’s never any rush — the goal is a calm, comfortable experience for both baby and parents, where everything unfolds naturally.
What is your turn around time for photo delivery?
Your final gallery will be delivered within 1-2 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. I prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that you'll cherish.
How do I prepare for my newborn session?
Once your session is booked, I’ll send over a short questionnaire to help me get to know your family and prepare for your session with intention. Inside that, you’ll also receive newborn prep guide — filled with helpful tips on what to expect, how to prepare baby, what to bring, and how to create a calm, cozy experience. Everything is designed to make the process feel simple, relaxed, and tailored just for you.
